Job Description
We are recruiting for a Head of Solutions Distribution who will be responsible for leading Legal and General Asset Managements global solutions distribution team within the Asset Management Sales team.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and delivery of Legal and General Asset Managements business plans and sales strategy to drive the growth of our global solutions business incorporating the full range of public market capabilities and working in partnership with the private markets distribution team on solutions combining public and private markets capabilities.
What youll be doing:
- You will be working in partnership with the Head of Solutions and other senior Investment stakeholders to set the strategic direction for Legal and General Asset Managements global Solutions business and act as the voice of Distribution with senior stakeholders in relation to this business area.
- The Head of Solutions Distribution will be working closely with regional channel heads (across UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia etc) to develop channel-specific sales plans for relevant capabilities tailored to client requirements and in collaboration with the private markets distribution team where relevant.
- You will be responsible for the delivery of the overall Solutions sales numbers (including retaining and extending global consultant ratings for relevant strategies) working closely and effectively with the relevant investment and channel heads to drive results.
- The Head of Solutions Distribution will contribute to embedding a strong and collaborative culture within the public markets distribution team and work in close collaboration with the private markets distribution team to maximise effectiveness and impact across the Sales team.
- You will be leading development of global Solutions positioning and messaging to help support retention and sales across public and private markets, channels and regions.
- In this role, you will be acting as a key external spokesperson for the public face of the Solutions business taking ownership of providing sponsorship for the Legal and General Asset Management brand and profile in relation to the Solutions business globally.
QualificationsWho were looking for:- The Head of Solutions Distribution will be a proactive entrepreneurial individual with global experience and track record of delivering Solutions-oriented sales to large institutions worldwide with a focus on understanding client objectives and building solutions to meet those needs.
- You will have experience of distribution of multi-asset solutions and public and private markets investment strategies and funds across a wide range of capabilities, channels and regions.
- We are looking for strong stakeholder management skills alongside business development, relationship and pitching experience.
- The Head of Solutions Distribution will have investment experience including exposure to Solutions, Responsible Investment, Index, Active and Public and Private market strategies.
- You will have proven experience devising and executing business sales plans and designing and discussing investment strategies for institutional and wholesale clients.
